I an seeing a lot of cases where customers are buying machines from online sites and getting machines with copy meters rolled back!  Yes there are a lot of Copier Companies that turn back (roll back) the counters on copy machines and sell them as floor models or off lease low meter. Be very carefull of these companies as they are all around. If the deal seems too good to be true, then it is too good to be true!  When you purchase a machine used, the meter reading dictates the cost of the machine, many of these companies will turn the counters or reset them and sell these machines as new. Beware of the shaddy wholesalers and local copier companies who do this. Because it is not governed or there are no restricions like with automobiles, Copier companies can get away with just about anything. I have a new customer that just got burnt by one of these online copier companies and he is going through hell with a defective machine that had its metered reset.
